Jia Kaur

Who I Am

I'm Jia Kaur, an IB Diploma student at The British School, New Delhi, and India Country Director at Wavesparks (Young Founders Summit '24). My academic journey is anchored in a deep fascination with Mathematics, Artificial Intelligence, and Global Affairs — exploring how these fields intersect and influence societies worldwide.

Beyond the classroom, I am passionate about building inclusive learning environments, with a particular focus on supporting neurodivergent children. I believe every individual brings unique strengths, and I am committed to creating spaces where those abilities are recognized, celebrated, and nurtured.

As India Country Director at Wavesparks, I guide aspiring young founders across the country — conducting interviews, mentoring newcomers, serving as a sherpa in international programs (including Singapore), helping teams refine their startup pitches, and collaborating on content creation. This hands-on leadership role has strengthened my belief in the power of entrepreneurship and cross-border collaboration to drive meaningful change.

I also channel my interest in finance and social impact through projects like financial literacy booklets for young children and women, a fintech/crypto newsletter, and the development of Autipy — a gamified therapy and connection platform for neurodivergent children and therapists worldwide.
